Kelly Woodworth
Founder and CEO at Yardstick Technologies

As the founder and CEO of Yardstick Technologies Inc., Kelly plays an active role in the company’s growth strategy, and management of key relationships. A relatively new entrepreneur, he started Yardstick in 2009 with the goal of offering technology products and services to customers and relationships he had built over 2 decades of business development. Soon after starting Yardstick, Kelly discovered my passion for creating growth mindsets within his people and environments that present opportunities. Because of this, Yardstick has experienced strong growth over the last 10 years of business, being recognized 3 times in Alberta’s Fast Growth 50 for our success. 

Yardstick is well on its way to achieving it’s goal of earning 20 million dollars in revenue, with offices in each city within Alberta. To contribute to that plan, in 2019 Yardstick purchased an IT service company in Grand Prairie that has opened up great opportunities for us in a growth market. As they enter 2021, his company see no slowing down in their growth strategy and will continue to invest in their people which is one of the reasons they have had such great success.

In addition to my professional achievements, the Woodworth household has no shortage of blessings and sources of pride as Kelly is surrounded by three extremely strong women in his life. Lisa, his wife of 25 years has recently begun her next journey in property development and rental space. Sydney, 16, is a budding entrepreneur who, along with her sister started her own charity when she was only 4 - that has to date raised over $115,000 for the Stollery! And last but certainly not least, his 20-year-old, Taylor, is also an entrepreneur in training, currently working on her last year of her BCom before she goes on to acquire her MBA.
